The color of strong people: using brown film for car wrapping
Auto vinyl film first appeared on Japanese auto rallies in the 60s of the last century. Then it was used in order to designate car numbers and names of riders during the competition. Subsequently, Richard Drew suggested the use of vinyl film to protect the windows when painting the body. Some time later, on the basis of his developments, films appeared that were intended for tuning a car body and forming an additional protective coating on its surface. There are many popular shades of film, including brown.
Body wrap
Such materials allow you to protect the painted surface of the body from corrosion and external influences, thereby extending the operational life of body painting. In addition, at any time the motorist can remove the vinyl film, returning the surface of his car to its original state. Brown film for cars can be glossy, matte, carbon-look. It can give the car an elegant look or highlight certain areas on the body.
Before applying autovinyl, you should find a spacious and clean room, protected from sunlight and dust. Ideally, a well-kept garage can become such a place. It will be necessary to drive a well-washed and dried car here. It will be desirable to close the gate and the gate so that excess dust does not fly into the room.
Before starting work, it is recommended to check the place of gluing - it must be well cleaned of grease, dust and other contaminants, and only after that start applying the material. Then the vinyl film should be laid on the surface, marking the required area and adding a few centimeters to it along all edges for an allowance. Then the latter will need to be tucked up and glued to the back.
Before the vinyl coating process itself, you need to wash your hands, leaving them wet. This is done to avoid fingerprints. With wet hands, carefully peel off the substrate and spray the shampoo diluted in water (3 drops per 1 liter of water) onto the adhesive layer. The surface to be glued must also be treated with this solution.
Then you should smoothly apply the vinyl film to the desired area of \u200b\u200bthe car. It is recommended to start from one corner to the middle. Taking a squeegee, it is necessary to smooth out all air bubbles and irregularities, moving from the center to the periphery.
On the pasted surface, the autovinyl film creates a stable and beautiful coating, preventing the appearance of chips and scratches. Protecting the car from external damage, it will save a lot of money on unexpected repairs or repainting.
Car film 3M carbon look
Produced by 3M USA, this dark brown vinyl film is designed to cover car bodies and decorate isolated parts of cars. It is a two-layer cast material, which, although durable, can be removed at any time.
The dark brown film "3M" under carbon is steady against adverse weather conditions. It even withstands short-term exposure to petroleum products. Thanks to a special layer of Comply™ adhesive, this film can be easily applied to all kinds of planes, but is best suited for processing high contrast surfaces. Comply™ glue allows you to accurately apply the material to any part of the body.
Graphjet with microchannels
This high quality brown PVC matte material looks quite unusual. It has a multi-channel structure, almost does not scratch, stretches well and is easily glued to dry. And most importantly - very resistant to wear. In addition, this material perfectly tolerates harsh operating conditions, the washing process, cold and heat.
This material differs from the usual matte car film in that it has a fine rough surface. Having at hand a roll with a width of more than 1.5 meters, you can easily paste over any part of the car, avoiding joints in the coating. However, in problem areas and on the edges, it is better to use a primer (adhesion promoter) 3M 94.
